I hold a degree in Literature, as my passion has always been the examination and contemplation of the characteristics that make us human. Before turning to this work I spent 15 years in the corporate world where I acquired a unique perspective on navigating the challenges of balancing the busy demands of the corporate culture with the foundations of family/relationships, creativity, and self care.
I am a graduate of the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy (TIRP), an educational and training program recognized by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT). I am governed by CAPT's code of ethics, and I comply with the professional practice standards of the CRPO.
I am dedicated to the pursuit of ongoing growth and development so education, self-reflection, and meditation are practices that I value and prioritize in my life. I practice from a compassion-focused, client-centred, anti-oppressive, LGBTQ-affirmative framework.
